As we expand our team, we’re on the lookout for an experienced commercial gas engineer that is confident in breakdowns, installations and servicing.
*What You’ll Be Doing*
You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing gas appliances across a wide variety of commercial sites. Duties include fault diagnosis, compliance inspections, certification, reactive call-outs, planned maintenance, and liaising with clients to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation. You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, diagnosing across a wide range of system types, and representing Corvee with the same pride we take in our name. You’ll also play a valuable role in supporting apprentices and junior engineers, sharing your knowledge to support their development.
*Day-to-Day Responsibilities*
* Attend commercial properties to diagnose faults on gas appliances
* Carry out repairs to gas appliances, controls, and related heating systems
* Identify parts needed and provide clear feedback to the office team
* Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers
* Keep accurate digital records in our user-friendly job management app
* Ensure all work complies with current gas safety regulations
*What You’ll Need*
* 10+ years' relevant experience
* A genuine enjoyment of helping customers and supporting junior engineers
* Clear, thorough communication for effective job feedback
* Extensive fault-finding knowledge and experience
* COCN1 (Commercial Gas Safety)
* Clean and full UK driving licence

While our office is based in Kettering, this is a field-based role covering the town and surrounding areas. You’ll visit the office as needed for stock, team meetings, or updates.
