We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the smooth operation of the clinic. *Duties*
* Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments in accordance with health and safety standards
* Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including setting up equipment and handing instruments
* Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, offering reassurance, and ensuring patient comfort throughout appointments
* Manage patient records accurately using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality at all times
* Take and develop dental radiographs as required
* Provide post-treatment advice and instructions to patients
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe clinical environment
* Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient correspondence
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is desirable
* Good command of English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and team members
* Basic IT skills for managing electronic health records and appointment systems
* Strong communication skills with the ability to reassure and inform patients clearly
* Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
* Relevant nursing qualification recognised within the UK healthcare system is preferred but not essential for internship roles
* Ability to work as part of a team with professionalism and empathy
