*Overview*
Due to the expansion of our family run business, we are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Nurse or nurses to cover 4 days a week (30 hours between Monday and Friday) to join our friendly team at Rumney Endodontics and Dental Care. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional patient service and support. Your responsibilities will include working with the practice Manager in organising appointment schedules, assisting patients with enquiries, and maintaining an organised dental surgery. In addition to a warm and welcoming demeanour, our ideal candidate is detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Knowledge of dental procedures through a qualification in dental nursing as well as application in practice is a must. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in creating a positive experience for our patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-informed during their visits. You will also assist the dental team to streamline patient flow and maintain accurate patient records, contributing directly to the smooth operation of our practice. *Responsibilities & Requirements*
Greet and assist patients as they arrive at the practice.
Organise appointment scheduling and maintain the calendar for the dental team.
Prepare the surgery for the coming patients, follow our cross-infection procedures maintain the highest standards in dental nursing care.
Handle incoming calls, emails, and enquiries from patients.
Verify patient information and update dental records as necessary.
Process patient payments and manage billing enquiries.
Ensure the waiting area and front office are organised and presentable.
Requirements
GCSE A-C x 5 or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration preferred.
Previous experience in a dental/medical or care receptionist role is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in using dental practice management software and Microsoft Office 365.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is an advantage.

Pay ranges from £13.50 to 14.00 per hour depending on experience and skills
