HGV Driver Operative (7.5 Tonne / Highways)
Location: Tyseley, Birmingham (B11 2BE)
Rate: £155 – £165 per day (CIS/Umbrella, dependent on experience)
Start Date: Beginning of January
We are currently recruiting 2 HGV Driver Operatives for the SPRINT 2 project, working on highways infrastructure works. The role involves driving and operating a 7.5 tonne wagon alongside supporting on-site construction activities.
Key Responsibilities

Drive and operate a 7.5t wagon safely and efficiently

Assist with highways site operations including:
-
Ducting
-
Drainage
-
Kerb laying
-
Support general site duties as required

Adhere to all health & safety procedures on site
Requirements
-
Previous highways or civil engineering experience

Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence

Valid Driver CPC
-
Tachograph Card
-
Abrasive Wheels certification (preferred but not essential)
