Autism Support Teaching Assistant – Borehamwood
Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire

Contract: Temporary, with potential for long-term
Pay: From £85 per day (depending on experience)
The Role:
Supply Desk is recruiting an Autism Support TA to work with a child in Borehamwood, providing individualised support and helping them access the curriculum in a mainstream or specialist setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored one-to-one support
Assist with social and emotional development
Support behavioural strategies and positive engagement
Work closely with teachers and SEN staff
Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Experience working with children with autism
Patient, empathetic, and organised
Excellent communication skills
Commitment to supporting children’s learning and development
