Days: Mon - Sun | AM, PM & Evening shifts
About the Role
As a Health Care Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering vital patient care, ensuring health checks are performed efficiently, and providing support to both pediatric and adult patients. The successful HCA will be committed to maintaining high standards of care, adhering to health and safety protocols, and demonstrating compassionate support across all duties.
Duties:
Performing general patient care tasks including health checks, assisting with mobility, and monitoring patient conditions
Supporting medical staff and healthcare professionals in a fast-paced urgent treatment environment
Caring for patients of all ages, including pediatric and adult populations
Ensuring all documentation and clinical notes are accurately completed and maintained
Upholding hygiene standards and maintaining a safe clinical environment
Responding swiftly to patient needs, complaints, and emergencies
Candidate Requirements for the Healthcare Assistant position:
Proven HCA experience working within a UK Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) or Accident & Emergency (A&E) department
Experience treating patients of all ages, including paediatric and adult patients
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
NHS Smartcard
Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
