*Responsibilities*
* Conduct MOT tests on a variety of vehicle makes and models in compliance with DVSA regulations
* Perform thorough inspections of vehicle components including brakes, lights, tyres, suspension, and exhaust systems
* Identify and diagnose mechanical issues that may prevent vehicles from passing inspection
* Complete detailed reports of inspection findings and communicate results clearly to customers
* Maintain accurate records of all testing procedures and outcomes
* Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained according to manufacturer specifications
* Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times during testing procedures
* Keep the testing bay clean, organised, and compliant with industry standards

* Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
* Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment
* Excellent attention to detail to ensure thorough inspections and accurate reporting
* Good organisational skills to manage multiple tests efficiently within scheduled timeframes
* Strong communication skills for explaining technical issues clearly to customers
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
