*Job Description—Fire Alarm Engineer/Qualified Electrician*
We are looking for a qualified and experienced fire alarm engineer/electrician to join our team of engineers. The work to be carried out will be servicing, installing and repairing fire alarm systems and emergency lighting in commercial properties ranging from HMOs to large factories and Nursing Homes. Most of your work will be carried out on your own (a company van will be provided), although on bigger installations, we work as a team, so the ability to do both would be an advantage. Experience within the Fire Safety industry would be advantageous although training will be provided.
This is a customer facing role, therefore, we are looking to employ someone who has a professional customer manner, is used to working on their own initiative and preferably with a current DBS.
*Areas covered—We are based in Hereford but cover parts of the bordering counties as well.*
*Job Type—*Full Time Permanent—There is a Call Out Rota which means you will be On Call for approximately six/seven weeks out of the year.
*Hours of work—*9am to 5pm—40 hours per week. Standard paid holiday package *.*
*Pension provider is NEST.*
*Remuneration—Approximately £35,526.00 per annum . *Overtime is paid at time and a half and Out of Hours Call Outs are paid at double time.
