*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ad-Hoc Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a lorry, ensuring timely delivery of goods to various locations. *Duties*
* Operate a flatbed lorry for the transportation of goods across designated routes.
* Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, adhering to all safety regulations.
* Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition before and after trips.
* Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.
* Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns professionally.
*Experience*
* Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with flatbed lorries.
* Valid commercial driving licence (CDL) with an excellent driving record.
* Familiarity with delivery driver responsibilities and logistics operations is advantageous.
* Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
