REN Pharmacy is a trusted, independent community pharmacy serving the Stenhousemuir area. We pride ourselves on providing personalised, patient-focused care and delivering high-quality clinical services to our local community. We are now seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Pharmacist Manager to lead our team and help drive service development.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Lead the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring safe, effective, and compliant service delivery.
- Provide high-quality clinical care, including prescribing as an Independent Prescriber (IP).
- Oversee and support the pharmacy team, providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring.
- Maintain excellent relationships with patients, carers, GP surgeries, and local healthcare providers.
- Manage dispensary workflow, stock control, CD governance, and professional standards.
- Drive and deliver NHS and private clinical services, with opportunities to develop new IP-led services.
- Ensure full compliance with GPhC standards and all legal/regulatory requirements.
*Essential Criteria*
- Qualified Pharmacist, registered with the GPhC
- Independent Prescriber qualification (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of community pharmacy practice and governance
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously, make clinical decisions, and support team development
- Commitment to providing outstanding patient care
*Desirable Criteria*
- Experience in a managerial or leadership role
- Experience delivering NHS and private clinical services
- Motivation to develop new services and grow the pharmacy’s offering
- Familiarity with local prescribing pathways and community healthcare initiatives
