FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED OPERATIONS MANAGER FROM WASTE AND RECYCLING SECTOR TO OVERSEE A BUSY MRF / TRANSFER STATION
TITLE: Depot Operations Manager – Waste Management & Recycling Site
PACKAGE: £50-55,000 + Bonus, Pension, Medical Cash Plan
LOCATION: West Manchester area
You will have had experience running a Waste Management operation, Skip Hire, Aggregates Recycling, Scrap Metal, WEEE, Plastics Transfer Station, Construction & Demolition Waste, MRF, MBT, or ELV or similar production, manufacture of process background

ROLE: Depot Operations Manager – Waste Management & Recycling Site
You will be responsible for a waste management processing site and a team of just over a dozen
The MRF site operates a range of materials processing machinery
You will ensure that the site is compliant with all company policies and maintains a good safety record
You will have some commercial responsibility for the site and deliver effective cost control
If you do not have a COTC you will be expected to work towards one.
EXPERIENCE: Depot Operations Manager – Waste Management & Recycling Site
You will have had experience running a Waste Management operation, Skip Hire, Aggregates Recycling, Scrap Metal, WEEE, Plastics Transfer Station, Construction & Demolition Waste, MRF, MBT, or ELV or similar production, manufacture of process background
You must have NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
Ideally you will have a COTC / Certificate of Technical Competence
You will have experience at management level with experience of budget management and commercial involvement
