- Perform MOT tests on vehicles in accordance with regulations and guidelines
- Inspect vehicles for safety and compliance with emissions standards
- Identify and report any faults or issues found during the testing process
- Use diagnostic equipment and tools to conduct thorough inspections
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently
- Previous experience as an MOT Tester or in a similar automotive role is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems and components
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for inspections and repairs
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions
This position requires a high level of attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate must have excellent problem-solving skills, good communication skills, and a strong commitment to safety.
