Test Manager (Migration)About the RoleWe have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Test Manager to join us in working on our Platform Modernisation Programme to lead Data Migration testing for a fixed-term of 12 months. Within this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of testing, ensuring that any inconsistencies or errors are spotted and reported accurately, and working together with your team to implement improvements and solutions. This is a hybrid role with some presence required at our Bournemouth office. Key Responsibilities Manage the programme resource plan. Represent Business Change at appropriate planning, project and release forums and contributing ideas and information as required. Manage resources allocated to the programme (directly or indirectly). Define test strategies, process and approach, together with relevant testing documentation for in-scope platforms/projects, in line with Business Change best practice guidelines. Manage test environment and data requirements, ensuring compliance with data security and usage policies. Maintain relationships with third-party providers or partners as required, providing updates and reports where necessary. Provide reports and data for in-scope platforms and projects. Regularly review and assess the quality of our test documentation, conditions, scripts and coverage. Consistently adhere to good testing practice and processes, ensuring records are logged accurately.About You Experience of working as a Test Manager managing Data Migration testing and testing large, complex projects across multiple platforms Ability to effectively manage complex new system deliveries, integration, and migration programmes Excellent working knowledge of Jira and Azdo Understand various development methodologies, approaches, and techniques used to test them Maintain knowledge of industry standards and trends, with the ability to assess these, adapt and apply as appropriate, ensuring LV= remains relevant and competitive Strong understanding of risk-based testing techniques and approaches Excellent communicator, with the ability to present summarised, accurate and relevant information in a clear manner Be able to competently present high-level information to managers and senior leaders Demonstrate excellent leadership skills, with a focus on creating a positive department dynamic, and continuous improvementDesirable: Experience of working with life insurance products across different projects and operational areas ISEB foundation level in Software TestingRewards & Benefits This role is a Band C in the LV= Structure.At LV= Life and Pensions, you’ll go above and beyond to do the right thing for our customers.
