Head of Service Delivery – (Infrastructure, Management, 3rd Party Suppliers, Vendors, Hands on, Team Management, RFP’s, Service Delivery) – Permanent – Fully Remote
Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for a Head of Service Delivery on a permanent basis for an existing client. This role is a fully remote position with a well established business and a leader in their field.
Location: Fully Remote
Salary: Up to £80,000 Per Annum D.O.E
Skills/Requirements for the Head of Service Delivery:

Proven experience in service delivery leadership within IT or technology environments.

Strong vendor and 3rd-party management skills, including performance oversight and contract negotiation.

Experience managing small teams (3–4 senior delivery managers) and driving accountability.

Ability to create and manage RFPs for new projects and BAU services.

Hands-on technical expertise in infrastructure (e.g., servers, networking, cloud environments).

Ability to work across multiple infrastructure domains and support troubleshooting when required.

Strategic mindset: capable of influencing future IT service roadmaps and improving delivery efficiency.
Start date is ASAP for the Head of Service Delivery
The Head of Service Delivery will be responsible for:

Leading and develop a team of senior delivery managers responsible for outsourced services and projects.

Owning the service delivery framework, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met across all vendors.

Managing vendor selection and onboarding processes, including RFP creation and evaluation.

Collaborating with the CIO on the 3–5 year IT infrastructure roadmap, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Act as an escalation point for critical service issues and provide hands-on technical support when necessary.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and infrastructure efficiency.
