Metal Cleaner / General Labourer - Temporary Assignment
Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire
Start Date: Induction in December | Work starts January
Duration: 4 weeks (Temporary)
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour (Paid weekly)
Verus Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading manufacturing company in Rotherham, seeking Metal Cleaners and General Labourers to join their team for a short-term project.
This company serves a diverse range of OEMs across industries such as defence, security, construction, quarrying, recycling, and rail, with in-house capabilities including laser cutting, CNC machining, fabrication, welding, shot blasting, painting, and assembly.
The Role:
Cleaning steelwork components using manual techniques, including wire brushing
Assisting with general labouring duties across the production area
Supporting fabrication and assembly teams with material handling
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Working to deadlines with a great work ethic and positive attitude Shift Pattern:
Days: Monday to Thursday
Hours: 06:00 - 16:00 Requirements:
No formal qualifications required
No FLT licence needed
Experience working in a similar role or environment would be advantageous
Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team What's on Offer:
