Delivery Manager - Contract (3 months)
Day Rate: £500 (Inside IR35)
Location: Open to London, Bristol, or Manchester (team days once or twice per quarter)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Capability Delivery Manager to lead a high‑profile programme within
a government environment. This role requires a proactive, organised and solutions‑focused individual
who can take ownership of delivery, drive progress, and act as the main point of contact for the project.
You will step into a leadership position currently held by the Hiring Manager, who will transition to an
oversight role
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience delivering programmes within UK Government or Public Sector
environments.
Strong leadership capability, with experience stepping into delivery ownership roles.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
Highly organised, with the ability to plan and track delivery activity effectively.
A solutions‑oriented mindset with the ability to navigate challenges and project blockers.
Experience using standard Project Management tools.
