One of our major clients is seeking an Administrative Assistant who enjoys handling numerical tasks, to join them on a full-time permanent basis. This company has been established for over 15 years, delivering projects in Construction and Facilities Management, across the North of England. In this role, you’ll support the Procurement and Finance teams with tasks like processing material requests, raising purchase orders, speaking with suppliers, and supporting colleagues across the business. You’ll also keep pricing information updated, resolve invoice queries and handle general admin.
Responsibilities

Process material requisitions and raise purchase orders

Liaise with suppliers, internal departments and site teams

Monitor, update and maintain pricing agreements

Assist with supplier invoice query resolution

Provide general administrative support to the Procurement and Finance teams

Contribute to ongoing improvements of procedures and systems
Requirements

Experience working within Procurement, Finance or a Commercial department (preferred)
-
Strong written, numerical and communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Excellent attention to detail

Reliable, with good timekeeping and a positive attitude

Able to work effectively as part of a team

Organised, able to multitask and meet tight deadlines

Background working in the built environment – desirable
