Northamptonshire is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Children in Care - Court Team based in Kettering. This role focuses on managing a caseload of children in care who are in court proceedings.
About the Role
Hold and manage a full court-focused caseload
Complete assessments, court reports, and statements
Undertake statutory visits and all required tasks of a case-holding social worker
Work within a Children in Care team with a dedicated court function
Hybrid working - varies weekly depending on court hearings, CIC reviews, and visitsWhat They're Looking For
Strong experience in court work within children's services
Ability to manage complex cases and produce high-quality written work
Confidence in attending and presenting in courtEssential Requirements:
Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
Social Work England Registration
