We’re excited to be recruiting for a Customer Support Team Leader role with a well-established business. If you love supporting people, keeping things organised, and helping a team perform at its best, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you.
As the Team Leader, you’ll be the go-to person for the Customer Support team—offering guidance, keeping the day running smoothly, and making sure everyone has what they need to deliver a great service. You’ll also get stuck into improving processes, updating training materials, and helping the department grow.
What you’ll be doing day to day
• Supporting, guiding, and motivating the Customer Support team
• Setting clear goals and helping the team reach them
• Organising workloads, delegating tasks, and managing the weekly rota
• Getting involved in proactive tasks like quote follow-ups, upselling and re-engaging customers
• Helping handle customer queries and keeping communication flowing across the business
• Tracking performance and giving friendly, constructive feedback
• Spotting training needs and offering coaching
• Keeping departmental documents and training guides up to date
• Building strong relationships and supporting the team with any issues
• Representing the department in internal meetings
• Helping with recruitment when needed
Who this would suit
• 1–2 years’ experience in Customer Support
• Good understanding of business processes
• Strong communicator who’s organised, calm and approachable
• Confident using Microsoft Office
• People management experience is a bonus
