*Your Role & Key Responsibilities:*
As a vital member of our field team, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, including:
* Executing comprehensive electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for various systems.
* Performing meticulous electrical inspections and testing, ensuring full compliance with BS 7671.
* Expertly diagnosing and resolving complex electrical faults, system failures, and power outages.
* Conducting essential site surveys, including ducting assessments and detailed PLC/telemetry cable and signal identification.
* Specializing in control panel fabrication for leading brands such as ABB, Siemens meters, and YDOC installations.
* Commissioning and setting up electrical systems for overpumping operations.
* Providing on-site supervision for electrical works and collaborating effectively with other contractors (e.g., RSE, Unitspark, Bilfinger) to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Upholding the highest standards of health and safety regulations in all aspects of your work.
*What You'll Bring to the Team:*
*Qualifications & Certifications:*
* City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrotechnical Technology (or equivalent NVQ Level 3).
* Current 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018+A2:2022) qualification.
* _Preferred:_ City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification (or equivalent) and/or an ECS Gold Card.
*Skills & Experience:*
* A minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrable experience as a fully qualified Electrician.
* Proven track record in commercial or industrial environments.
* Exceptional diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities, particularly with electrical and control systems.
* Hands-on experience with control panel building, testing, and site supervision.
* Proficiency in interpreting complex electrical schematics and control diagrams (PLC/telemetry).
* Strong commitment to quality workmanship and rigorous adherence to safety protocols.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effective teamwork and independent work.
* Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced project environment.
