As part of the European Road freight Customer Services team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations for key clients—ensuring shipments are handled efficiently, cost-effectively, and with outstanding customer service. What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll act as the main point of contact for important clients, managing shipments and helping deliver a seamless customer experience. Your responsibilities will include:
Day-to-Day Operations Support

Support Senior Account Managers with daily operational requirements.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across the UK and Europe to support the smooth movement of goods.

Enter and manage shipments within internal systems, generating transport instructions for suppliers.

Handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Customer Service

Deliver an exceptional level of customer service with prompt, proactive communication.

Understand individual customer needs and tailor your approach accordingly.

Input accurate data into internal systems and follow established procedures.
Ownership & Responsibility

Take full ownership of your workload and manage tasks independently.

What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who is positive, enthusiastic, and eager to grow within the logistics sector. You will ideally have:

A strong desire to build a career in logistics or supply chain.

Excellent customer service skills and experience in customer-facing roles.

Previous experience in European Road freight (advantageous but not essential).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

High attention to detail and good organisational abilities.

Education to A-Level standard (degree-level desirable but not essential).
