PfP Thrive is Places for People's skills and learning academy, designed to develop talent within our organisation and across the housing and construction sectors. More about your role
As a Learning Experience Coach, you'll be at the heart of supporting apprentices through their learning journey, ensuring they feel engaged, informed, and empowered to succeed. This role is all about building strong relationships with learners, employers, and stakeholders to create a positive and impactful experience from start to finish.
You'll provide expert information, advice, and guidance (IAG) to help learners navigate their programmes, while ensuring compliance with apprenticeship standards and Ofsted expectations under the Education Inspection Framework (EIF). Your ability to understand individual learner needs and tailor support will be key to driving achievement and progression.
This role will be based at our Derby Training Centre, typically on-site during the week.

More about you
Essential criteria:
- Demonstrable experience relating to learner engagement, including providing sound information, advice and guidance (IAG) within an apprenticeship environment with strong knowledge of the relevant compliance and delivery support required.
- Excellent understanding of apprenticeship standards, learner support needs, and Ofsted expectations under the Education Inspection Framework (EIF).
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills with the capability to build rapport and trust with diverse learners, parents and employers at various levels in an organisation.
- Working knowledge of safeguarding, Prevent, and wellbeing practices.
- Competent in the use of digital platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Desirable criteria:
- Experience working within housing, property, or skills development sectors Understanding of governance, compliance, or quality assurance processes.
- Relevant qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance or learner support (Level 3 or above).
- Experience supporting maths, English, and personal development within work-based learning programs.
