What you’ll be getting stuck into as an Abattoir Operative
Carrying out key cutting, trimming and processing tasks within the slaughter hall
Supporting the full meat production process to maintain workflow
Working safely and hygienically in a chilled environment
Maintaining food quality and compliance across all tasks
Following procedures and codes of practice to meet regulatory standards
Contributing to team throughput and overall site efficiency
What you’ll bring to the table as an Abattoir Operative
Previous experience in an abattoir or red-meat processing environment
Knife handling or cutting/trimming experience
WATOK CoC licence (any category) advantageous
Comfortable with physical, fast-paced work in a chilled setting
Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
Working hours: Monday–Friday, start times 07:00–07:30 & finish times 16:00.
