Warehouse Operative
Location: Stroud
Hours: January–mid February: 09:30–18:00. Mid February–June: 10:00–18:30
Pay: £14.10 per hour
Contract: Long-term temporary
Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative:

Loading and unloading international trailers and delivery vehicles

Safely and efficiently moving a wide range of products

Keeping accurate records and processing paperwork efficiently

Real-time processing on SAP
-
Managing finished goods movements between factory and distribution centre, from loads to emailing Excel sheets
-
Participating in monthly and yearly stock counts
-
Maintaining housekeeping to audit standards
-
Picking stock for export orders and ensuring safe packing for dispatch
-
Completing weekly forklift truck checks

Providing holiday and sickness cover when required
Key Skills of a Warehouse Operative:

Valid counterbalance forklift licence
-
Computer literate, knowledge of warehouse management systems, ideally SAP (advantageous but not essential)

Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Self-motivated with strong communication skills
