Multi-Trade Carpenter (Responsive Repairs)
Location: Central Cornwall (Truro, Redruth, Falmouth, and surrounding areas)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Carpenter to join a well-established maintenance contractor's Responsive Repairs team in central Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled carpenter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a varied, hands-on role carrying out day-to-day repairs in people's homes.
In this role, you will be responsible for completing a variety of responsive repairs in domestic properties. Your work will cover a range of carpentry and general maintenance tasks, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out a variety of carpentry-based repairs including door hanging, skirting boards, windows, architraves, and general maintenance
Undertake other multi-trade duties (plumbing, basic tiling, plastering, etc.) where required
Respond to repair requests from tenants and homeowners in a timely and professional manner
Ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard of quality and in compliance with health and safety guidelines
Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with residents
Complete all paperwork and reports as required by the companyEssential Requirements:
Proven carpentry experience, but also including door and window repairs, framing, joinery, basic plumbing repairs, patch repairs, basic tiling repairs)
Experience in responsive repairs within occupied properties
General multi-trade skills (basic plumbing, tiling, and plastering are a plus)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle (preferred for the initial 12 weeks, not essential)Benefits:
