ANZUK is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Assistant to join a specialist school in Bromley, supporting children and young people with severe learning difficulties and disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students aged 3–19 years.
The Role

Provide tailored support to children with complex needs in both classroom and individual settings

Assist with learning activities, personal care, and communication development

Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure each child thrives

Promote independence, inclusion, and positive behaviour management
Requirements
-
Previous experience supporting children or young people with severe learning difficulties and disabilities
-
Ideally hold Team Teach or positive restraint training (training can be provided if needed)

Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
