Production Operative – Sheetmetal
Location: Thurrock
Salary: £31,000 - £36,000 depending on experience
We’re recruiting on behalf of a manufacturer of industrial steel shutters and doors based in Thurrock.
The role:
You’ll be working in a busy workshop environment, helping with:

Cutting metal to size (using saws, grinders, etc.)

General labouring and workshop duties

Operating fabrication machinery (press brake, guillotine, rollers, etc.)

Measuring, marking, cutting, and assembling materials

Quality control
What we’re looking for:

Experience cutting metal in a workshop or similar environment

Happy with hands-on, physical work

Reliable, with a good work ethic
-
Willing to be trained in QC
Important:
Due to limited public transport, you must be a driver or have your own transport to get to site
