Warehouse Operative
We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our night shift team in a busy distribution centre based in Newton Abbot. This is a Temp - Perm position ideal for individuals who are physically fit, enjoy hands-on work, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for general warehouse duties including loading and unloading cages, stock movement, and working within a chilled store. Full training will be provided.

Pay Rate:
Day Shift (05:00–23:00)
Monday to Friday: £12.21 (Overtime: £14.65)
Saturday: £14.65
Sunday & Bank Holidays: £18.32
Night Shift (23:00–05:00)
Monday to Friday: £12.92 (Overtime: £15.50)
Saturday: £15.50
Sunday & Bank Holidays: £19.38
Shift Pattern:
Thursday to Monday 21:00-7:00
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out general warehouse duties in a chilled environment
Load and unload cages of various products from trucks
Push, pull, and manoeuvre cages (manual handling involved)
Use handheld scanners to maintain accurate warehouse productivity
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
Skills and Competencies:
Strong attention to detail
Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
Flexibility to adapt to changing workflow or priorities
Experience and Qualifications:
Previous warehouse or logistics experience (desirable but not essential)
Manual handling training (preferred – training provided)
Experience using pump trucks (desirable)
