We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on quality control and the ability to handle materials efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
Duties

Accurately pick and pack products according to order specifications.

Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required, adhering to safety protocols.

Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring that materials are stored correctly and efficiently.

Utilise the warehouse management system for tracking inventory levels and processing orders.

Conduct quality control checks on products before packing to ensure they meet company standards.

Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.

Perform heavy lifting as necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.

Collaborate with team members to improve packing processes and warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in picking and packing roles.

Familiarity with materials handling techniques and safety procedures.

Experience operating forklifts is advantageous; certification may be required.

Knowledge of warehouse management systems is beneficial for efficient inventory tracking.
