Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Crediton, Devon
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Full time, 40 HPW
Contract: 12 weeks temporary to permanent
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Operative on behalf of a long-established, family-run manufacturing business based in Crediton. This organisation produces a wide range of animal nutrition products and is looking to add a motivated individual to its busy production team.
The Role
As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day production activities, including:
Preparing, manufacturing, and packing animal supplement products
Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant working environment
Assisting with general warehousing duties as required
Carrying out physical tasks, including regular lifting of materials up to 25kg
Using internal computer systems for labelling, recording, and production-related tasks
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Is proactive and able to identify tasks to support production efficiency
Is self-motivated with strong organisational skills
Has good numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail
Is confident using computers
Ideally has previous production experience (full training will be provided)
Holds a forklift licence (or is willing to undertake training if required)
