📅 Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off
💷 Pay Rate: £14.86 per hour
📌 Contract Type: Ongoing with Temp to Perm potential
About the Role:
We’re hiring Transport Yard Operatives for a company in Milton Keynes.
This is a hands-on, active role ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in transport or driving.
You’ll play a key role in keeping the yard running smoothly—moving vehicles, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring everything is ready for the road.
A UK DRIVING LICENSE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE. A HGV LICENSE IS NOT REQUIRED.
Key Responsibilities:
Move vehicles of various types around the yard
Offload empty trays from vehicles
Wash and refuel vehicles
Conduct basic vehicle checks
Maintain a clean and organised yard environmentWhat We’re Looking For:
Full UK driving licence (max 3 points)
Previous driving or vehicle handling experience
Physically fit and comfortable with walking and manual tasks
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
Excellent communicator
