BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Group Warehouse Manager for their client in Boldon, Tyne and Wear. You will be based at the office in Boldon, however in the near future (6-9 months’ time) they will be moving to larger premises, based at Newton Aycliffe. You must be willing to be relocated to the new office, with no hybrid working. This is a site-based role.
You’ll be a dynamic warehouse leader with several years’ experience in leading and developing a team.
You are forward thinking and want to make a difference, with passion for delivering the highest standard of service.

Oversee daily warehouse activities
Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
Team leadership and staff supervision
Process improvement, implement change
Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives
Manage logistics, despatch and delivery
Oversee safe loading and delivery vehicles, including route planning
Working closely with internal departments for example project and sales department
Budget and cost management
