Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with special educational needs or additional learning needs within the classroom.
- Assisting the teacher with delivering lessons and activities.
- Encouraging independence and promoting positive behaviour.
- Supporting small group work and one-to-one interventions.
- Helping with preparation and supervision of classroom resources.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is desirable but not essential.
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach to working with children.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents.
- Good communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning) desirable but not essential
