We\'re seeking a dynamic team leader who will support all aspects of operational processes relating to the admission of students across all levels of study, from overseeing the daily operations of the central admissions team, assessing qualification equivalencies to developing robust admissions policies. Imperial is unique in the UK as the only university to specialise solely in science, engineering, medicine and business. What you would be doing Develop and train a team of central admissions experts. Utilise data and best practice to drive efficient and effective processing of applications. Make operational decisions to ensure execution of efficient and student-focused admissions processes. Maintain detailed knowledge of all internal and external policies, and the recruitment priorities of our faculties and departments. Support admissions policy development. Lead a programme of continuous process improvement that aligns policy, procedure, and Imperial\'s priorities around diversification and applicant experience. Ensure the provision of outstanding front-line services. Lead qualification equivalency assessment. What we are looking for Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent professional experience. Experience of managing record and information systems within a university or similar institution. Detailed knowledge of the university admissions process and policy/regulatory issues. A consistent track record of achieving measurable results in a fast-paced environment. Dedication to customer service with a continuous focus on improvement. Experience of working with qualification equivalencies and assessing new qualifications. Strong ability to empower others. Ability to handle multiple database systems. Ability to train and support other staff members, using tact and diplomacy to deliver feedback. Strong quantitative, analytical and reporting skills. Demonstrable evidence of strategic and problem-solving skills.
