Main Areas of Responsibility We are looking for a qualified, experienced teacher to join Harris Academy Chobham as Key Stage Coordinator of Mathematics. Joining our Director of Learning, you will be responsible for student progress and development in the subject area across a specified key stage including meeting student achievement targets for the key stage. Qualifications & Experience The successful candidate will: Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree. Have successful teaching experience at secondary level, ideally including experience in multi-ethnic urban schools and/or in an 11-18 school. Understand the theory and practice of effective teaching and learning. Have of National Curriculum requirements at KS3 and KS4, particularly in the relevant key stage. Understand the importance of having high expectations for all students, both of behaviour and academic achievement. Understand inclusive provision and practices which offer equality of access to the curriculum for all students, including SEN, EAL and high achievers. Have knowledge and experience of writing lesson plans, developing resources and assessing students work. Understand the importance of being a Tutor.
