We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Construction Engineer to join our team and work on an exciting project for one of our clients. Key Responsibilities: Regular reporting to a nominated ‘Task Lead’ to ensure successful delivery of the specified scope and activities, with overall accountability to the EPM HVAC Engineering Team. Lead Constructability, Commissionability, Operability, and Maintenance (CCOM) reviews for designated buildings from handover (HO1 to HO2). Provide detailed design and execution design constructability support by reviewing HVAC models, GA drawings, ductwork, and support manufacturing drawings against project documentation. Provide support to CDM reviews by designers and communicate feedback with designers and clients in meetings. Prepare Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) , along with other construction documentation. Support procurement of bulk procurement packages like ductwork, supports, insulation, and grilles, including surveillance of technical elements for QA. Involved in sequence planning and reporting for the construction phase. Interface with various task delivery teams and stakeholders, ensuring proper cross-population of information for project delivery. Qualifications & Experience: HNC in Engineering (or equivalent), ideally with 10 years of experience in nuclear or a related safety-critical field. Strong experience in HVAC systems, including ductwork and ductwork support manufacturing, large-scale multi-discipline projects, and engineering design delivery. Familiarity with cross-discipline coordination and interfaces for services installations in complex environments. Demonstrable experience working in office or site-based environments, delivering HVAC technical support. Experience in 3D modelling environments and applying construction-focused understanding to engineering design for best practice. Knowledge of international codes and standards.
