We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Educator to join our Primary Care team at Practice Plus Group to cover HMP Thameside and HMP Belmarsh.
HMP Belmarsh is a male, maximum security prison that has a capacity for 910 inmates.
HMP Thameside is a category B Prison located in Greenwich, South-East London.
Hours
Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm
Salary
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £61,000 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As a Clinical Nurse Educator, your responsibilities will vary. You will
Support and inspire staff to provide high quality care to patients and to implement evidence-based patient care
Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines for training and development.
Facilitate, deliver, and evaluate a range of multi-professional education and training programmes
Provide real time ‘hands on’ training for staff in clinical areas to promote the acquisition of new skills and knowledge

Registered Nurse – Adult Current professional qualification (NMC)
Evidence of Continued Professional Development
Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
Excellent communication skills
Existing line management experience and student nurse mentorship
