We are recruiting for a skilled and driven individual to join our client’s growing Commercial Team. This role offers an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join a rapidly growing and privately owned real estate developer in Central London.
You will play a key role in our team, working closely with the Facilities Manager to oversee both preventive and reactive maintenance, manage contractors, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. Additionally, you will contribute to refurbishment projects and the continuous improvement of our properties.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

Supervise and train maintenance staff, fostering high performance and skill development.

Source, negotiate, and oversee contractors for specialised services, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Manage reactive maintenance and emergency repairs to minimise disruptions.

Conduct regular site visits to address issues such as fire safety, electrical faults, and plumbing.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including LOLER, PUWER, and COSHH.

Attend site meetings to resolve disputes and clarify expectations.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, certifications, and corrective actions.

Contribute to refurbishment projects by carrying out feasibility studies, cost estimates, and execution plans.
Requirements

Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in commercial properties.

Strong knowledge of building systems and statutory maintenance requirements.

Thorough understanding of UK health and safety standards.
