Position Overview :
As the Unit Manager of the Operating Theatre, you will play a key role in the smooth operation of the theatre, ensuring a high standard of patient care and safety during surgical procedures. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team in a high-pressure environment.
Requirements :
- Operating Theatre Diploma essential and registered with SANC
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Scrub Nurse in a multi-disciplinary hospital setting.
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role within a healthcare environment.
- Strong ability to function in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of operating theatre procedures, sterilisation, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff and patients.
