We are currently looking for a talented Junior Merchandise Planner to join our Head Office team based in Durban. Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following: Job Related Competencies Monthly supplier sales and store reports. Turnover time with loading forms submitted and accurately listing these on the system. Timeously following up with orders that have been placed and not allowing these to fall off the system and not be delivered. Was and now pricing submitted and processed on the system. Review master data on product listings for errors and changes needed. Efficiently process and action DI's for local and cross border stock. Loading promotions, providing CSV's and reviewing sales for departmental adverts. Accurately listing new products into the system. Providing product listing, barcode reports and processing FOB orders for the Merch and Shipping teams. Accurately actioning price increases or decreases sent from the Category Manager teams. Action authorised changes related to product status, hierarchy, brands, barcode maintenance. Supplier reporting on sales, stock and store performance. Qualifications and Experience: BCom Supply Chain Management Minimum 1 year experience as a Trainee Planner/Junior Planner Experience in working in a retail/e-commerce company advantageous Where the magic happens: Toys R Us; Babies R Us employees are energetic, customer centric, fun-loving and have a shared value base with the company.
