This role involves coordinating the design, sampling, photoshoots, catalogue creation, marketing, and social media for home textile brand ranges. Key Responsibilities: Design Selection & Briefing: Collaborate with the design team to choose designs that align with brand identity and trends. Review design history for best-sellers, manage design amendments, and coordinate design approvals with the Brand Manager. Source trims for products in collaboration with planners and trim suppliers. Sample Management: Request samples based on specifications for new product development and replenishment. Coordinate local and international sample deliveries to relevant contacts. Photoshoot Coordination: Organize photoshoots by preparing samples, booking photographers, sourcing props, and deciding on backdrops and styling. Select and edit photos for catalogues, marketing, websites, and packaging. Catalogue Development (quaterly): Design catalogues by selecting themes, proofreading, and working with planners on product information. Manage quotes and approval processes with printers and oversee catalogue distribution. General Marketing & Showroom: Design advertisements, merchandising materials, and ensure images meet packaging standards. Update the showroom with new samples and manage website content for the brands. Range Review & Presentation: Coordinate range reviews for new season products, including sample arrangements and catalogue presentations. Packaging & Labeling: Design packaging inserts, update images on existing packaging, and create product care labels. Handle additional graphic design tasks, such as print designs, business cards, and banners. Social Media & Marketing: Develop independent email lists and execute monthly social media posts. Qualifications: Matric or equivalent. Relevant industry qualification (e.g. Graphic Design, Product Fashion/Design, etc)
