Well established Pump company situated in the JHB North area seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to maintain the Workshop and Office, manage staff, order consumables and job equipment.
The Workshop Manager is also responsible for the designing of jobs and doing quotations, ability to work on autocad would be an advantage.
Ensure all equipment is in good working order and keeping all the certificates up to date.
Maintain vehicles.
Building of pump sets (training others to do this. Hands on, able to the do the job however mostly supervise others to achieve job completion).
Liaising with Salesman regarding pump builds.
Keeping a build register for QCP documents.
Placing orders with Suppliers.
Assist branches with drawings and quotations on baseplates. Quality control.
Site commissioning and repair work.
Ensuring workshops in Durban, Cape Town and Rustenburg are up to scratch for their purpose.
Opening up in the morning.
Monitor the drivers and stores staff.
