uMngeni Water Services (Pty) Ltd (UWS), a wholly owned subsidiary of uMngeni-uThukela Services (UUW), focuses primarily on marketing and expanding Section 30 Commercial Services.

Purpose of the Job:
- Conduct market research on customer needs and preferences
- Develop product strategies that align with company goals and customer needs
- Collaborate with customers and UUW for the creation of product concepts and prototypes
- Prepare cost analysis when developing a new product
- Ensure every step of the product development process proceeds as planned
- Present new ideas/opportunities to UWS executive management
- Mentor and coach junior staff and/or interns on product and services development techniques

Minimum Qualifications:
- Matric with Bachelor's degree in science or engineering
- Postgraduate qualification in Business Management
- MBA is an added advantage
Minimum Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years experience within the water and sanitation sector or similar environment, of which 3 years should be at middle management level
- Fair understanding of both private and public sector
- Proven experience in product development
- Understanding of lean systems
