GWD Motor Group Queenstown is on the hunt for an automotive technician. It doesn’t matter if you’ve just finished your apprenticeship, are a veteran of the trade or somewhere in between, if you’ve got a passion for working on vehicles then we want to hear from you.

We carry some of New Zealand’s favourite automotive brands with Toyota and Lexus calling our modern facilities home and offer career development opportunities that can include the ability to become a Toyota Master Technician.

In this role you will be:

Performing diagnostic testing and carrying out necessary automotive mechanical/electrical repairs.
Assisting with general servicing and WOF Checks (WOF Authority would be an advantage).
Utilising your skill set and knowledge to diagnose problems with any vehicles that come through the door.
Supporting the team around you and contributing to the effective operations of the workshop.

Skills Required

New Zealand Certificate in Light Automotive Engineering (Level 4) or other relevant qualifications.
WOF Authority would be an advantage but not a necessity.
Experience working in a franchise workshop.
Current full NZ Driver’s Licence.
