you will be part of an international and diverse 6-person development team as a lead and an important member of the editorial section
you will be responsible for the development of the individual team members, motivating and helping them to achieve their goals
in this position you will work closely with colleagues from other departments and our stakeholders
you will be a pragmatic voice showing where to invest engineering efforts to drive business outcomes
you will manage various projects simultaneously and work with varying tech-stacks
you will be responsible for establishing a technical roadmap and balancing product and engineering concerns

you have proven leadership experience, working with software engineering teams
you have excellent abilities to manage multiple projects and adeptly handle frequent switches between different technology stacks
you have in-depth knowledge of backend development, particularly in Java and Golang - additional experience in technologies like React, Cypress, and Kotlin would be beneficial
you possess a solid understanding of cloud infrastructures, especially with AWS and Kubernetes
you have great communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and other departments
you are solution-oriented, like to tackle complex technical challenges and are open to exploring new paths
you are fluent in English – German would be a plus
