Our client is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (French Speaking) to grow and develop their business in the Indian Ocean Islands.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve profit budgets set annually in collaboration with the Managing Director.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities in the market to expand business reach.
- Negotiate and close sales deals using effective negotiation and sales skills.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with the regulations of various markets.
- Operate within the companys logistical and financial controls.
- Travel to the Indian Ocean Islands approximately every six weeks for a period of 10 days to meet clients and develop business opportunities.
Key Skills:
- Fluent in French with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities.
- Good mathematical understanding and ability to analyze numbers and figures.
- Knowledge of INCO terms for both buying and selling.
- Creative and inventive problem-solving approach.
- Proficient in handling a diverse group of customers with maturity and professionalism.
- Ability to think strategically while managing detailed operations effectively.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development or a related role with a successful track record of closing deals.
- Knowledge of exports and logistics processes.
- Familiarity with FMCG products and the associated market dynamics.
