Main purpose of the Job:
To manage and lead team members to ensure maximum utilisation of all equipment, raws and packs/materials and labour to produce quality products at the lowest possible cost.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- National Diploma: Food Technology/Production/Food & Beverage Packaging Operations or Technical Qualification
- Teamleader/Management/Supervisory Training Essential
Knowledge:
Engineering/Mechanical
- Material requirement planning
- Plant capacity and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
- Product and process specific knowledge
- Knowledge and interpretation of advance process control
- Principals of microbiology, biochemistry
- Understanding of processing equipment, CIP Procedures, HACCP, Waste management, GMP, Quality Control and quality assurance and raw material functions
- Intermediate knowledge of instrumentation, system fault finding, Health & Safety practices, food legislation
