We are an IT and technology focused company, looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our growing sales team in Durban. The ideal candid needs to be experienced, naturally structured, sales focused and come from a technical background.
The Job Role
The role is a client-facing IT Account Manager.
Delivering structured client engagements, understanding client business technology needs, scoping solutions and the sales of those business technologies. With the goal of effectively helping our clients'' businesses be more secure and efficient through technology adoption.
As well as internal inter-team collaboration and the management of a portfolio of existing customers services and the overall delivery of exceptional customer experience and customer service.
Therefore, this role is only suited for a person who is structured, has both technical and sales experience and genuinely cares about delivering customer service.

- Be a naturally structured person, who enjoys working with proven client engagement sales frameworks and defined internal business processes.
- A mature EQ, with the ability to engage with different personality types and understand business value of technology solutions for different decision makers.
- Be able to have business IT focused discussions with clients, understanding their business requirements in order to scope and sell business solutions.
- Have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal with customer service being a key deliverable.
- Must be sales minded and driven to earn commission.
- Have the ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric.
- 3-years+ working as an IT Account Management role, in the IT industry.
- Proven sales record of selling IT and technology solutions to clients (not to resellers).
- 3-years+ working in a technical IT role (Presales or technical support or technical project implementation).
Preferrable Skills
- Product sales focused qualifications such as Microsoft MS-900, SC-900, AZ-900, product certifications or other software/product certificates
- Technical solution implementation certifications.
Experience or certifications pertaining to Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, IT security, IT data protection, Wireless and LAN networks or servers and computers.
