Our client is one of the world’s leading OEMs with over 30 years of experience in manufacturing highly efficient wind turbines for global onshore markets. They are looking for a Contracts Manager to manage multiple operations and maintenance contracts, customers, and related stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES:
The main scope of the role is to be responsible for the administration of multiple operations and maintenance agreements.
- Engage in the review, drafting, evaluation and negotiations of a variety of SAA Contracts, and Subcontracts for existing and new service contracts with the contracting team when required and continue to develop and improve the contractual frameworks/basis with customers.
- Customer management and being the key point of contact.
- Perform administrative tasks in contract management and implementation and track contractual performance, especially to analyse the successful performance of all operations and maintenance contractual obligations.
- Have strategic and tactical ownership of the customers in the sales and after-sales phase, maintaining awareness of ongoing activities through the remaining part of the value chain for the customer and including Service customers.
- Own customer requests, and claims and lead the response process in a diligent way to ensure proper and on-time responses according to contractual obligations and best practices.
- Be an initial point of contact to and serve as a point of escalation for Nordex customers.
- Develop and execute account targets and actions.
- Align with the Global Service Sales, After Sales and Customer Account functions and with the KAM function in order to inform and prepare any needed communication or report and drive preparatory work.
- Regularly meet with Customers to discuss contractual performance and project matters.
- Support the O&M team on the contract interpretation and/or doubts.
- Coordinate interface within the service department for the flawless execution of handover between project phases – construction and service.
- Aftersales offers management including NX local company sales increase.
- Gate LoA risk analysis registration in C4C.
- Service Sales KPIs Management.
- Create service contract renewal cost report.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, engineering, law.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in contract management/contract administration/commercial environment.
- Experienced with contract management and standard forms of contracts (FIDIC, NEC, JBCC, etc.)/ proprietary contract forms.
- Extensive experience in contract administration and contract negotiations.
- Experience in the renewable sector is an advantage.
- Good relational skills to communicate with clients & stakeholders to achieve a good working relationship.
- Good communication and presentation skills, both verbally and in writing, to support effective communication with clients and other stakeholders.
- Confident in managing multiple contracts and commercial requirements.
- Able to prioritize own workload and work independently under pressure.
- Able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
- Willing to travel, including nights away from home.
- Share knowledge and experience.
- Medically fit.
- Driving Licence – Minimum Code B.
