KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:
You will have completed a Mechanical Engineering qualification, coupled with a minimum of 10 years experience in managing company assets such as production machinery/equipment, as well as production output, risk management, inventory/supplier management, and factory operations.
You will have a strong background in managing a diverse team of artisans and production staff, based at multiple plants, to ensure:
- Production costs are kept at a reasonable level.
- Effective maintenance schedules are maintained.
- Improvements and modifications to equipment and production machinery are driven.
- Production targets are met with the highest quality and safety standards.
You will have a solid track record in terms of people management and development, providing technical support to the maintenance and production teams, and maintaining meticulous staffing and performance records.
Sound working experience of:
- HSE and Quality (ISO 9001 and 14001).
- Budget compilation/management (reporting and management of expenses, variances, losses, etc).
- Departmental and international reporting is essential.
You must have a valid driver’s license, own car, and a clear criminal and credit record.
